Davidian & Mariamian Educational Foundation To Hold Telethon

GLENDALE—The Davidian & Mariamian Educational Foundation’s annual Telethon will take place on Sunday, May 23 from 5 to 11 p.m. and will be televised on Horizon Armenian Television on Charter Cable channel 285, AABC (channel 284), and High Vision (channel 281).

Davidian & Mariamian Educational Foundation was formed in 1987 by the alumni of Davidian and Mariamian High Schools from Tehran, Iran.  The Foundation’s mission, from its inception, has been to provide the opportunity for Armenian students in the public school system to learn their Armenian language, culture, and heritage. DMEF currently offers after-school programs in 33 public schools in 10 cities throughout Southern California, with the largest concentration in the city of Glendale.

DMEF is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.
