Israel Won’t Recognize Genocide, Says Envoy to Baku

Rafael Harpaz, Israel's ambassador to Azerbaijan

BAKU–Israel does not plan to recognize the Armenian genocide perpetrated by Turkey, Rafael Harpaz, Israel’s ambassador to Azerbaijan has said, Haaretz reported citing the Azerbaijani news portal Trend.

“Israel is a democratic country, everybody has two opinions, not one opinion,” Harpaz said. “The government has a very clear opinion.”

He said Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman had made Israel’s policy clear.

Harpaz told Trend he hoped Israel’s troubled relations with Turkey would improve.

“There are enough common interests and issues in the world for us to cooperate,” Harpaz reportedly said. “I would like to take an example of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines is the biggest foreign airline which is active in Israel. Istanbul is the biggest hub for Israelis. The same goes for tourism, trade which is up. We hope that our political relations with Turkey will improve.”

Harpaz has served as Israel’s ambassador to Azerbaijan since 2012.

Follow the money (power) trail and all your worldly questions will be answered. It funny how Turkey wants to lead the Ummah and yet has relations with them. What kind of an Ummah will allow such hypocrisy?

Shouldn’t it be obvious by now that putting all your eggs into the “Recognition” basket is a losing proposition? It’s only been 100 years, how many more centuries will it take to realize that no amount of lobbying morally corrupt countries will bring us no where. Dear compatriots, pour your energies into strengthening the existing Armenian state and the true allies of Armenia, eg Uruguay and strengthening the strategic partnership with Russia who has already recognized the genocide and provides Armenia with military advantage and trade partnerships. Forget the corrupt western countries and the two faced, ill intentioned Israel which is providing sophisticated drones and other military equipment to Azerbaijan and setting up bases in Azer to destabilize our southern ally and neighbor Iran as well.

Another conclusion I can make here is that Turkey is intentionally keeping up the Genocide theme, in order to keep attention away from the Woodrow Wilson Arbitral Award, which is all about land. The award is final, binding, and has no expiry date. It hasn’t become void by any subsequent treaties, unlike what Turkey will claim. We have to bring this matter up.

Armenian should embarque worldwide word of mouth campaign denying or calling exagerated the Israely Holocaust claims, word of mouth campaign is stronger than their biased boring movies. Ahmadinijad of Iran had a point when he refused the Holocaust

And besides, what does Azerbaijan have to do with the cozy trade relations they have with Turkey? Are they not two independent countries with different set of advantages and disadvantages? Why is Israel defending Azerbaijan while at the same time citing Turkish relations?

    Oh yeah, follow the trail……

Israel is committing its own genocide against the Palestinians since 1948, meeting every requirement under the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

Those who deny or “refuse to recognize” the Armenian Genocide, including most prominently the United States, Britain, NATO, and Israel can go to hell. It should not surprise any of us Armenians that the worlds most violent and evil regimes are the ones which most vehemently work to deny the Armenian Genocide, weaken the Armenian state through subversion and doom-and-gloom propaganda, and are the closest allies of their brothers-in-genocide Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Thank God Russia is back as an Orthodox Christian nuclear superpower and is able to defend Armenia from the treachery of these genocide-denying scum through the Eurasian Union and CSTO. God Bless Russia, God Bless Armenia, and God protect the Russian-Armenian strategic alliance from all enemies foreign and domestic.

Spoken like a true and a typical double-talking, shrewd, self-serving and disingenuous Zionist.

According to this deceitful vermin, IF Israel is a democratic country and everybody has an two opinions and not one THEN I assume he won’t have any problem with the leaders of other countries, such as Iran’s former president Ahmadinejad, exercising their democratic rights questioning the Jewish Holocaust.

Punk, street thug. Israels democracy is a circus prank. Two opinions, democracies are supposed to have two opinions ? Unspeakable and unworthy. The light unto nations has her batteries run down and is the darkness unto nations.

Second Paragraph, I agree with Mr Harpaz “everybody has two opinions except Israeli government who has only one opinion.

    Dear Rafael Harpaz Ahmadinejad,
I respectfully request that you democratically grant the duality of opinions to the rest of the world and allow deniers of the Holocaust to voice their opinion with respect and recognition. Your stance has personally made me question the existence of the Holocaust. Perhaps you should review Newtonian mechanics: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

With so much hatred against Israeli’s in Turkey, how can you be such a kiss ass Mr. Harpaz? Or, this is the way to be when your enemy barks on you, you should show your smile as nothing is happening.

If there is no Armenian Genocide, then there is no Hollocoust my dear Mr. Harpaz! Kapish.

Turkey will recognoze the Armenian Genocide before Israel does, one of the main the reason Isreal will not recognize the Genocide it shadows the holocaust, people are already fed up watching the holocaust movies with their repeated biased truth.
